March, 2014

The School of Architecture is pleased to have just completed a successful accreditation visit this week. In conjunction with that visit, there is a large amount of student, faculty, and alumni work on display, and we would like to invite the entire UDM community to visit us anytime during normal business hours on Thursday and Friday.  You will find faculty work on the 2nd floor, Alumni work on the main floor, and student work in the Exhibition Space.

Bruno Leon

It is with a tremendous sense of sadness, but also gratitude that we must pass along this sad news. Our founding Dean, Professor Bruno Leon passed away today in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Bruno had a remarkable influence on the University, the School, the faculty, and most importantly, as many of you know very well, hundreds and hundreds of students. Some of you may be looking at the web site for the first time in a long time today, as ironically, the announcement for our 50th Anniversary celebration may have arrived in your mailbox today. Of course we will now include a tribute to our beloved founder at that event. Bruno was an inspirational leader, a poet, and a friend to many.  Rest in peace Bruno. Read More
