As a group, the 15 college and university members represent more than 40,000 students, collectively the state’s “third largest university”.

2014 Commencement Ceremonies set for May 9 & 10

University of Detroit Mercy will hold its annual commencement ceremony for undergraduate and graduate students on Saturday, May 10, at 1:30 p.m. in Calihan Hall on the McNichols Campus.

The day before, on Friday, May 9, the UDM School of Dentistry will hold commencement at 9:30 a.m., and the School of Law will hold commencement at 5 p.m. Both ceremonies will also take place at Calihan Hall. In total, the University will graduate more than 1,500 students during the three commencement ceremonies.

Scholarship Opportunity

Upon admission to the Architecture program at University of Detroit Mercy you may eligible for the Loranger Nautilus Endowed Scholarship. Officially announced in 2014, this scholarship is worth approximately $3,000 per year, renewable each year of the 5-year Architecture program. The name is in honor of our benefactor, Mr. Warren L. Loranger who donated the funds, and the nautilus shell is the symbol of the School or Architecture.
